This is disgusting. Why can’t they post this on a national website and sell them that way? Or donate them to nonprofits who can’t afford nice cameras? Geez - there are so many good things Canon could do with these cameras and lenses they are about to discard simply because they don’t have boxes to ship them in.

Seriously… these cameras could be put to good use. just ship em to some college papers or some high schools with dying photography programs. -sigh-

LOL and NO i wont be able to give them out? Canon is a huge international company, so throwing away these cameras won’t mean anything to them. And another reason why they wont be giving them away is because they dont want to waste their time looking for people to give them too. the quickest and easiest way to get rid of them is just to smash them and throw them away lol.
this is a great example of a bad idea. it would be so easy to find someone to give them to.
Stores do this with clothes too. It’s disgusting. But why couldn’t they just…make boxes?
